Silver Arts Award | Level 2 Qualification in the Arts
Take your creativity and leadership to the next level with Neurographica, where art meets neuroscience. This accredited Level 2 qualification develops confidence, focus, and emotional balance through creative self-expression. Delivered by Neuro Exploration, the UK’s first and only Arts Award Centre specialising in Neurographica.

Silver Arts Award | Expanding Your Creativity, Confidence, and Purpose

The Silver Arts Award (Level 2) builds upon the Bronze foundation, guiding learners toward deeper artistic exploration, independent project work, and personal growth. At Neuro Exploration, the first and only Arts Award Centre in the UK specialising in Neurographica, participants engage in a powerful journey of creativity and self-discovery that merges art, neuroscience, and mindfulness.

This level invites learners to take ownership of their creative direction, develop leadership skills, and explore how art can shape identity, communication, and emotional balance.

Accredited by Trinity College London

The Silver Arts Award, accredited by Trinity College London, is equivalent to GCSE grades A–C* and offers learners 60 guided learning hours (GLH) and around 35 self-directed hours of creative study. It supports progression to college-level arts study, apprenticeships, or personal creative enterprise.

Independent Project Development

Participants at the Silver level expand their creative confidence through two key units:

  1. Unit 1 – Arts Practice and Pathways:
Learners refine their artistic technique through Neurographica-based projects, developing technical and expressive depth while connecting with their personal vision.

  2. Unit 2 – Arts Leadership:
Participants design, plan, and lead a small arts project — such as a group drawing session or community exhibition — developing communication, planning, and leadership skills.

These activities encourage responsibility, initiative, and reflection, empowering learners to see themselves as both artists and facilitators of creative wellbeing.

The Science of Neurographica and Mental Clarity

Neurographica uses the principles of neuroplasticity, guiding the brain to form new, healthier connections through creative movement and focus. Each flowing line and integrated shape represents a shift in neural activity, helping learners build confidence, regulate emotions, and cultivate resilience.

Scientific research in creative cognition and mindfulness-based neural training shows that this type of practice enhances emotional regulation, problem-solving, and adaptability — essential skills for young people navigating academic and personal challenges.

Managing Pressure Through Creative Calm

The Silver Arts Award arrives at a time when many teenagers face academic stress, social comparison, and uncertainty about their future. Through the meditative process of Neurographica, students learn to:

  • Channel anxiety into creative flow

  • Reduce the intensity of perfectionism and self-criticism

  • Build inner calm through focused, rhythmic drawing

  • Strengthen positive self-belief and decision-making

This makes the Silver level not only an academic or creative milestone but also a deeply restorative and empowering experience for emotional wellbeing.

Recognised Qualification and Future Pathways

Achieving the Silver Arts Award provides a Level 2 Qualification in the Arts (QCF), recognised nationally and valued by employers and education providers. It prepares learners for the Gold Arts Award (Level 3) and beyond — giving them a strong creative portfolio, communication experience, and enhanced self-awareness.

By the end of the programme, participants gain:

  • Confidence as independent creative thinkers

  • A tangible understanding of how art can enhance wellbeing

  • Practical leadership and reflection skills

  • A portfolio of evidence showing creative growth and impact

Transforming Stress into Strength

At Neuro Exploration, every Silver participant learns to use art as a tool for both expression and self-regulation. The process supports not only artistic skill but mental health, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence, providing young people with lifelong tools to thrive in an increasingly fast-paced world. Through each guided Neurographica session, learners discover how creativity can transform pressure into purpose, replacing tension with clarity and confidence. This empowering approach builds resilience, enhances focus, and nurtures a deep understanding of how thoughts and emotions can be reshaped through mindful, intentional art practice.
