Bronze Arts Award | Level 1 Qualification in the Arts | A Creative and Personal Development Journey
The Bronze Arts Award (Level 1) is the perfect starting point for anyone ready to begin their creative and personal development journey through art and self-discovery. At Neuro Exploration, we are proud to be the first and only Arts Award Centre in the UK to specialise in Neurographica, a groundbreaking fusion of art, neuroscience, and mindful reflection that supports emotional wellbeing and mental clarity.
Accredited by Trinity College London
This qualification, written by Arts Council England and accredited by Trinity College London, introduces learners to the foundations of artistic thinking, creative practice, and reflective development. Through engaging, hands-on Neurographica drawing sessions, participants explore their unique creative voice while building essential skills in planning, creating, presenting, and reviewing their work.
What Participants Will Explore
Each participant will:
-
Explore a range of Neurographica art forms to discover personal creative interests.
-
Develop and present a personal project that expresses a meaningful theme or emotion.
-
Research an artist or arts inspiration, understanding their techniques and impact.
-
Reflect on progress, outcomes, and newfound insights into their own creative identity.
The Science Behind the Art
Neurographica integrates art with the science of neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to form new connections through conscious practice. By combining mindful drawing, flowing line structures, and intention setting, participants stimulate calm and focus while reshaping thought patterns that can influence behaviour and wellbeing. This makes the Bronze Award experience not only educational but deeply therapeutic and empowering.
Recognised Qualification
Students completing the Bronze level gain a Level 1 qualification (QCF), equivalent to GCSE grades D–G, and build up 40 guided learning hours (GLH) and approximately 20 self-directed hours of creative exploration.
Reducing Pressure and Supporting Mental Wellbeing
Today’s young people face increasing pressures; academic expectations, social performance, and digital comparison can all contribute to anxiety, overwhelm, and reduced confidence. The mindful, meditative nature of Neurographica drawing helps learners release tension, regulate emotions, and focus attention through creativity.
By externalising inner thoughts onto paper, participants experience a calming shift in perspective and learn positive coping mechanisms that reduce stress and improve resilience. This practice not only nurtures artistic growth but supports mental health and emotional balance, giving learners lifelong skills to manage challenges both in and beyond the classroom. Over time, these creative tools foster self-awareness, patience, and confidence — empowering students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally in a demanding modern world, while encouraging healthier boundaries, self-expression, and a stronger sense of identity that supports lasting wellbeing and personal growth.%-
A Foundation for Future Growth
By the end of the course, participants will have:
-
A rich portfolio of artwork showcasing their progress.
-
A deeper sense of self-confidence and creative identity.
-
Practical insights into how art supports mental wellbeing.
The Bronze Arts Award provides a meaningful step toward further education, creative industry pathways, and progression into the Silver Arts Award or advanced Neurographica practice.
Creating Pathways in the Mind and Beyond
Through this unique, science-backed art form, learners don’t just create drawings,
they create new neural pathways, new perspectives, and a renewed sense of inner balance.
